What You'll Learn

The curriculum covers essential foundations such as medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, healthcare documentation, and the primary coding systems used across the industry, including ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Extensive Program

In addition to coding principles, the training explores the full billing and revenue cycle process. Students gain an understanding of payer guidelines, claim submission and follow-up, reimbursement methodologies, and key regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, compliance standards, and fraud and abuse prevention. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, ethical practices, and clear documentation to ensure data integrity and financial stability within healthcare organizations.

The program is delivered using current, in-field best practices and realistic workflows, helping students build efficiency, confidence, and strong attention to detail. Through practical application and industry-aligned instruction, graduates are well prepared to pursue professional certification exams and transition into entry-level medical billing and coding roles across a variety of healthcare settings.
